A Vacuum Conveyor such as the ones that you can find from companies like, help to move materials and items from one area of a construction, industrial or manufacturing plant to another. The size and weight of these items can vary and the type of system that you use will depend very much on what you need to move, how far and what your financial budget is.

The process for vacuum conveying is as follows:

  • The materials are placed into the vacuum conveyor from the containers in which they are kept.
  • The vacuum conveying process itself begins.
  • The items are removed from the discharge area and placed into the relevant packaging materials.

In the Vacuum Conveyors separator tank, a pump produces a vacuum. Air flushes from a feeding point and into the suction inlet via a tube. The substance in this air stream is aspirated and transported from here.

A separator tank decreases the velocity, and the liquid gathers above the discharge valve of the conveyor. Dust and airborne contaminants are separated from the liquid and the air by a filter placed within the separator tank. Then, the material is gathered into the separator.

The vacuum turns off until the material has passed through the separator and it is completed, and the material is discharged through a discharge element from the conveyor. It falls into a tank where it can be filled afterwards.

A blast of air cleans the filter automatically, and there can be occasions where the filter unit discharges the odd filter cake. Piston vibrators and fluidizing units are available to enhance the discharge process for products that are sticky or have poor flow characteristics.

The discharge valve is turned off once the product has been unloaded and the vacuum cycle process begins afresh.
